Had a blast with friends! We visited the amazing Christmas Markets and the beautiful museums nearby. The place was perfect location by the river. With comfy beds and friendly staff, our group felt well-catered. The free morning croissants were such a nice touch!
Unfortunately, the check-in process was a bit chaotic, taking nearly 45 minutes to sort out. Our friends ended up on a different floor, frustrating.

The breakfast was very tasty and the waitress was especially attentive and friendly. . Only to recommend. :)
The bathroom was very narrow. In a superior room, one might expect something different, but one should not forget it, it is a hotel and I only had the room for one night.

The location at the "middle Rhine bridge" is sensational and to be woken up by the sun in the morning is as well. Standing on the small balcony overlooking the old town of Basel is a gift.

Ideal hotel with river views and extremely helpful and very friendly staff. Comfortable beds in our superior twin room. Great to have an attached restaurant with good food and 10 % discount. Thoroughly enjoyable overall experience...

Breakfast until half past ten; quiet location; central and close to the tram station. Body lotion and shower gel of high quality.
Woken up at half past eight on Sundays by knocking on the door (we did not report it that way)

It is listed as 4 star so you would expect a level of comfort. No wardrobe space for clothes no area for suitcases bathroom very small big problem Teperature in Basel on Friday 32deg, no air conditioning in bedrooms or any where in Hotel. Offered us a fan!!!! This is not 4 star rating No Wi Fi in bedroom only in open area 5 sf for 30min ( 4 star hotel 4 star prices Wi Fi is normally free. Very expensive mistake to book this hotel
